11/11/2008:

After the Satyanarayan pooja on 10th, we packed everything. At 11/11/2008, we started from pune at 9:00 PM and reached the mumbai airport at 1:00 AM. Air journey was also good. At Mauritius airport we got free tourist visa for 1 month. We are seeing many indian faces. Afterall, Mauritius has more than 60% Hindus of which more than 90% are Indians. We did all this booking through Makemytrip. Makemytrip inturn gives the conract to SeaSide Holidays.

12/11/2008:

At the airport, Mr. Amar from Seaside Holidays was waiting for us. His driver took us to the van where other 2 couples ( Shardul+Kamakshi, and one more ) were there. Then we started from there and reached the hotel in 1 hour. Road was good. Our hotel name was "Coralia Mont Choisy PLM" We had a very tasty welcome drink and then the staff took us to the room. In the room we received a T-shirt and a Pairo (skirt) and a non-alcoholic grape-juice and a fruitplate. We had a nice bath and I went out to buy calling card and water bottles. and till then a representative from SeaSide Holidays Mr. Saif came to inform us about the tour programm. He was too much to advertise other programms, but we bought only one from him.. about Dolphins and Lion park. After that we had nice warm bath and lunch at 4:00 PM. At night, in the dinner, they gave us a tasty cake for honeymoon.

13/11/2008:

Today was the north tour. We left the hotel and the van went to Marrytime hotel to pickup one couple. Film "Duplicate" was shot in this hotel. Then we went to some shopping mall "Jumbo", where I bought a ring for juilee. Then we went to a French palace and to a church, but it was just for photography. After than we went to Caudian Waterfront, where there is a bridge which is in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. There our tour guide "Madhuri" showed us a hotel "Mystic Masala", where we got Shev-puri and RagdaPatis. Also there is a "Usacha Gurhal" where we got very tasty Us ras. In the mauritius this is the only shop for sugercane juice.

14/1//2008:

Today we went for South Side tour. First we went to a shopping mall where I bought a nice blue colored beach tshirt for me and other thirts for other relatives. Then we went to a ship factory where they showed us how they make ship models only from wood. It costs aroung $200 to $100000. There were also nice jwelery boxes made up of semi-precious stones. I gifted one to Juilee as a honeymoon Gift. Then we went to a diamond shop, but we did not buy anything from there. After that we followed a small road and a hilly road to the top of the volcano. This is not yet a dead volcano. Scientists are saying that this will errupt once sometime. It was very green area and we enjoyed the greenary and the nature.

After volcano, we went to a nice "Ganga Talav". Indira Gandhi poured the water of Ganga in this lake, so it is named as Ganga Talav. And in the vicinity there was a huge Bhagvan Shankar statue, 2nd tallest in the world and also at the backside there was Mandir having lots of statues of lots of gods and godesses. We did Abhishek on Shiv-ling. Juilee devoted Namaskar to each and every statue.

Here a little pain started in my stomach.

We then went to a nice view of black river valley. There were some shopping haatgadiwale and fruitwale, but I ignored them because of stomach pain. We ate Motichur ladu and gave it to Madhuri also, and told her that this is our Shaadi ka laddu. After that the van took a bumpy road and we were sitting in the last row, so my stomach pain increased a lot and juilee got frightened. But fortunately the van stopped at some hotel for lunch, where I ran to the toilet and rushed there and relaxed myself ( Later I understood that this was because of the sugercane juce we had the day before. ). During the relaxation process, the gandha on my forehead got rubbed....

But my face was very relaxed. Hahahaha.

Then we had good lunch and went to a very good waterfall. Then we went to seven-colored earth. Becasue of the ash from the volcano, there are 7 colors of sand found here. Here there are tortoises also. But my stomach again gave the trouble and I had to rush to the toilet again. Then Madhuri gave me a mint goli, which she though could give me reliefe ( that goli was actually a mouth-freshner, .. but Madhuri was very kind person. )

After coming home, we took a picture of the honeymoon gift.

15/11/2008:

As Casela is closed on sundays, Saif managed this tour on saturday. He gave us a private taxi with the driver Avinash. His uncle was Hindi professor there. Today I wore that beach shirt and was looking quite handsome that is what Juilee agreed. We first went to the dolphin ride, where we came to know that the adventure boat is out of service., so only speed boat is available. We took the speed boat and watched some dolphins. But these dolphins were shy and not jumping like I saw in Israel. The other couple ( Mani and his wife ) is very entertaining. Later I found that the speedboat man took both the coupons ( spped boat + casela ) from us and did not return back the casela coupon. Then we went to Casela bird park and the security guard did not allow us to enter because of no coupons. But here Avinash helped us and Saif faxed the coupons to the park and then we entered and took very good photos of bird while having a very short lunch of Besan Ladu. We could see the peacock with his pisara. And then the most exciting and thrilling part came - lion safari. We sat with lions and tyanchya pathi varun haat pan firavla. Mi photo kadhtana adhi Juilee chya khandyavaar haat thevla taar tithla guide mhanala: "You everyday touch here, thouch the lion now!"

While coming back, we both slept in the taxi as we did not have good lunch, we were very tired. So at 4:00 PM, we went to the restaurent of Sunil, who invited us the day beofre. He served us nice veg-curry ( with n0 gravy) and huge rice and nice masala tea. Long live Sunil.

16/11/2008:

Today we went to IleAuxCerf, only one more couple in the van ( Viral+Ketaki ). They first took undersea wak on Bellemerre beach, where me and Juilee just walked on the beach. nice ling walk, very refreshing. Then we went to the IleAuxCerf's boat transfer point, where a speed boat took us to the IleAuxCerf, there another speed boat took us first to a waterfall then to paraselling and then back to the IleAuxCerf, here we searched for some restaurents, but all were very very costly, so we took just the IceCream. This island was very beautiful.

17/11/2008:

After 4 days of hectic schedule, we decided to relax today. So after breakfast, I purchased the submarine ticket from the office which was just opposite to our hotel. Then we went to the hotel beach and did paddle boating for an hour and then we went to the submarine office again. They brought us back to our hotel beach where a boat took us to the submarine. The submarine went 35 meter down and showed us good corals, fishes and a japanese boat sank purposefully to create visitor's attraction. After coming back on deck a lady from South Africa appriciated the mendi of Juilee. Then a boat again transferred us back to the hotel beach. We then took a glass bottom boat, but because of dusty water, there was no good view.

Then we took a public bus to PortLouise ( ticket MUR 24 ) and first went to Mystic Masala and had food and went for shopping.

18/11/2008:

Today also, we went to PortLouise for shooping in public bus, had good food in Mystic Masala, and came back at 3:30 PM. We got a call from hotel reception about leaving the room. They were wating for us since 12:00PM ans checkout time is at 12:00 pm and another guest had already arrived. They were really angree on us as they even did not smiled at us while we were leaving. We checkedout at 4:00 PM ( with no extra fine ), and our couch came at around 4:30 took us to Le-Meredian ( on the way Juilee was crying -- happily ) to pick up Shardul+Kamakshi, then by struggling with a huge traffic jam we reach the airport. The return journy was good. Kulkarni ( carwala ) was waiting outside the airport. We reached home safely and ata amhi jaminivar alo hoto.
