Purpose: Juilee cha Vadhdiwas.

Juilee cha lagnanantar cha pahila vadhdiwas hota. I booked mavalsrushti for 1 day stay. My plan was Aai will preapre cake, we will cut it and then go to Mavalsrushti. But aai felt sick, so cake was cancelled.

I ordered the greeting card from picsquare 1 week before. The good thing is the card came just a day before i.e. on 23rd october.

24/10/2009:
I wished Juilee at night 12:01 AM, too. In the morning, I gave her the greeting card. She smiled and got happy.
Then we left home at 9:00 AM. I took the highway from vadgav - Chandani chowk - Pirangoot. After pirangoot, there is Paud S.T. stand from where I took right turn immediatley after the S.T. stand. There are very small, nearly invisible signboards of Girivan. After sometime, there is a road to Mahindra College. Do not take that road. Go straight and after 20 minutes drive, you can see entrance to Girivan at the left hand side of this bumpy road. Then there is a little Ghat and you reach to Mavalsrushti.
We reached Mavalsrushti at 10:30 AM, as I drove slowly enjoying nature and doing nature & bird photography. We showed our advanced booking receipt and paid remaining amount and got the coupons. The booking clerk told that there is nobody going to stay, so not good to take valley-view room, as it is far. So he adviced to stay in the room near the cafe, which is safer. So we went for the room no. 20, near the cafe. Room is good and have good view.
They have very strict time for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is from 9 to 10:30. We entered into the cafeteria at 10:30 and he prepared for us fresh kandepohe. Kandepohe were very tasty, followed by hot coffee. Then we went for a walk and arrived at the waterfall. Because of less rains, the waterfall was shrunken. But the sound of the water flowing from over the rocks was melodious. We sat there for a while. Amhi khoop gappa marlya.
At 1:15 PM, we returned back to the cafeteria and had lunch. It had Poli, Matkichi usal, Batatyachi bhaji, palak bhaji, gulabjam, taak, papad, pulav, koshimbir. Taste changli hoti.
The lunch was too heavy and we went into the room and slept like anything. At 5:15 PM, we woke up and went to the Mr. Patil ( in cafeteria ) and asked him for tea. He was unhappy as we missed the tea time of 4:00PM. But me and Juilee convinced him that we had a very tasty lunch and could not wake up because of heavy lunch. He gave us tea.
Then we decided to went to the waterfall again, but we lost our way inbetween and sun was about to set. So we decided to sit on the swings. We played sea-saw, ghasargundi. We played Ganyachya Bhendya by sitting on the swing. When it became dark, we started back and came to the swimming pool. There we did rounds around the pool by singing many songs. Later we stood at the wall of the pool, where Juilee sang Jara Jara Mehekta Hai... we were looking at the reflection of the palm tree in the pool water. I told her whenever she feels alone, remember this song and this place and this ambience and the reflection of the tree in the pool water.
It was around 7:00 PM, when we went back to the room. Within 5 minutes Juilee light up the candles and we danced on Bailamos, Soni de nakhare, songs. Then we played Rummy, Badalte Rang.
At 8:00 PM, we went for dinner which was really unforgettable. Pithla, Bhakri, Thecha, Kadhi, Vangyacha Bharit. Ek Numberrrrrrrrrr.
Then we came back and chatted till 10:00 PM and then fel asleep like anything.

25/10/2009:
We wake up at 6:30 AM and had bath uptill then tea came to the room. It was tasty masala tea. Then we did some more photography with Juilee's mobile ( as usual my camera was behaving rudely with me! ). Then we went for breakfast at 8:30 AM and had upama. Then we started back for Pune.

All the items are served fresh. The staff is very pleasent and helpful. The rooms are neat and clean. They have inverter backup for night. Hot water is available 24 hours in the room.
