I had holidy on monday 2nd May, because 1st May was on Sunday. I forced Juilee, too, to get a leave. I assumed that because of Monday, there will be less crowd. Only families with school-going children would come, as school-holidays were then going on.
Juilee gave me surprise by wearing a sadi. I, too, planned to wear zabba-survar, but wore shirt-pant.
We started from home at 3:30 PM, and reached there at 4:00 PM. On the way, khadakwasla dam was looking damn beautiful.
The AnandMelava was nothing but a small village set-up at Donje phata. They built all the houses of all the casts present before 100 years.
At the entrance there was the market of red chillies, ghongdi, pulses, lakdu vastu, etc. Some
p
eople wearing the villagians dress - white dhotar and white kudta - were dancing in the "Lagnachi Varat".
There were few drops of rain.
We tried Thalpeeth in one of the house. It was very tasty. They have also kept the "Patlacha Vada" - a typical big house of Patil in village. The vada was excellete. Tithech mi Katvat pahila - katvat mhanje kanik timbnyachi parat -
man changa to katvat me ganga - hi mhan aathavli. All this land - actually belongs to 
Mohite-Patil.
We ate barfacha gola, too. We also saw gulachi factory. 
Haatmagavar kapad kasa vintat te pahila.
They 
were playing a show "Gad ala pan sinha gela".
All-in-all, we saw everything that used to be there in a typical Maharashtra village - 100 years back.
Food was not that interesting, because there were all those familiar stalls. The stall owners well selling the food items independently. We ate pithla, bhakri and kanda bhaji. The food stalls could have been more interesting - if they would have served the food inside the house.
