Adventure land is a good park which has thrill rides as well as a water park. It is in Altoona. It easily takes two days to enjoy to the fullest. They also have a hotel near the entrance if you want to stay closer and get a free ride shuttle to/fro the park entrance.
We did the water park on Saturday and then the thrill rides on Sunday. Saturday at 12 noon we reached to the park and it had a huge crowd. I just felt like I am in India. We had to park outside of the park. I was really irritated by the crowd and queues. It took half an hour for me to get a locker to put our stuff in. Also the air filled tube was on rent which we used to enjoy the water rides. It was like $15 rental.
On Sunday we went to the park little early like at 10 AM. We enjoyed the thrill rides.
We started return journey at 5:00 PM. On the way back, we halted at Iowa City for dinner. The restaurant was "Haveli". It served us very tasty dal makhani. We were the last customers of the day for them.
